<image:caption>The Addai Boys Fund was formed because the Addai family wants to make an impact in the lives of children, enabling them to change the future of their own communities. The fund aims to help children gain access to basic necessities while providing them the opportunity to experience the common wonders of childhood. The fund is named the Addai Boys Fund because Joseph has three sons. The fund itself is managed by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a community foundation that has made grants on behalf of its donors for more than 50 years.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - About the Addais</image:title>
<image:caption>Joseph Kwaku Duah Addai, Jr. remembers the first time he visited his parents’ birthplace. It was like a new home for him. “Visiting Ghana and seeing the children was like looking in a mirror and seeing my younger self.” Addai is known for running through and around lineman and linebackers. He won a national championship at LSU and a Superbowl with the Indianapolis Colts. As noteworthy are his accomplishments off the field. Addai serves on nonprofit boards, such as Heritage Ranch in Baton Rouge and he returns to where his ancestors came from to give of his time and money to the children of Ghana. Joseph and his wife, Keon, opened the Addai Boys Fund to raise money for programs that help children experience the common wonders of childhood.</image:caption>
